Another positive post. Yay! The AlJazeera documentary shows people using aquaponics to grow fish and plants at the same time in a symbiotic system. Basically, the waste of the fish serves the plants as fertilizer and the plants clean the water for the fish.
With the earth population growing it is more and more obvious that we need new efficient ways of food generation. Transporting food over long distances is definitely not the best option. It seems that after the big race on going global, some things have to move local again. Before we already talked about windowfarms at your home and just recently about “the local bank” supporting this idea.
